Coming from an exciting vineyard in Sonoma County of heightened exposure to the elements and complex soils; the ferment is started by carbonic maceration for a high tone appeal and then eventually crushed by foot to integrate both tannin and spice. A juxtaposition in color and density to our Gamay from the foothills: dark but fresh and elevated on all levels. Wild strawberry, summer herbs with cranberry tartness. 11.8% Alc
